Highfield.co.uk Ltd are pleased to announce the latest addition to their food safety product range - the 4Cs Challenge, presented by Andrew Love and directed by Kevin Powis.

This highly amusing fully interactive DVD game show is loaded with questions and answers about, cross-contamination, cooking, chilling and cleaning.  It uses the latest technology and can be played on most DVD player's and laptops through a multi-media projector.
The DVD can be played in modules to break up traditional Level 2 food safety classroom training.  Alternatively, it can be used for an hour-long refresher training session, or to assist staff in an understanding of Safer Food Better Business.

In addition to the 4Cs Challenge, the DVD also includes the FSA's award winning DVD “Bacteria Bite Business”.  This is provided free of charge if purchased at the same time as the 4C's Challenge.

This new quiz book has been designed for use with the Level 3 Award in Supervising Food Safety provided by the RIPH, the CIEH and the RSPH.  It should be completed after reading “Intermediate Food Hygiene”.

It is an ideal way for supervisors to test their food safety knowledge prior to attending a Level 3 food safety course or to prepare for an examination.  It may also be used to demonstrate retained knowledge as part of competency testing/refresher training.

There are 52 cards in each pack contained in a purpose made plastic box.

The cards are full colour, professionally produced and will support entertaining interactive group activities to invigorate training sessions. 

They can be used as reinforcement or as an alternative to mock examinations.  Alternatively they can be used to test knowledge and to ascertain the need for refresher training.
One set consists of definitions and the other set, questions and answers.

The cards have been extensively trialled on accredited food safety courses and have proved extremely popular as well as contributing to higher pass rates.

In response to many requests from trainers, we have translated the UK's No. 1 Book for Level 2 food safety training, 'The Food Hygiene Handbook' into Polish.  Renamed the “Level 2 Food Safety Handbook”, to reflect its suitability for the new courses. The book provides the basic food safety information essential for all high-risk food handlers.  Reference is made throughout to hazards and controls, including allergenic hazards.  It includes the latest legal requirements as well as providing an understanding of the Principles of HACCP.

It can also be used to support in-house training or for reference purposes.
