Highfield are pleased to advise our customers that all of our food safety training packs and books have been updated and now incorporate:
- The latest food hygiene legislation (2006)
- The latest food poisoning statistics
- Information on allergens
- The latest information on HACCP including the flexibility provisions and Safer food better business
In addition we can confirm that all of our products are suitable for use with the new Level 2, 3 and 4 catering syllabuses. The RIPH have commended the Foundation Pack and PowerPoint Presentation as being appropriate for the Level 2 Catering Course and the training packs and books are being successfully used to deliver RSPH Level 2, 3 and 4 courses. Furthermore, Highfield books are included within the recommended reading lists for the new courses.
The course syllabuses for the CIEH, RSPH and RIPH are all based on the same National Occupational Standards and the QCA require the learning outcomes and assessment criteria to be the same for all courses. The increased emphasis of the new syllabuses on hazards controls, monitoring and corrective action was already included within Highfield products.
