All three have been invited to attend a civic reception and awards ceremony to be held in Glasgow City Chambers on Wednesday, November 22nd.

REHIS is an independent organisation which promotes the advancement of environmental health throughout Scotland.

Highfield.co.uk ltd, the sponsors of the awards, is one of the leading suppliers of health and safety and food safety training materials across the UK.

All three of the Dundee College participants were delighted to receive news of their awards.

"I came up to Dundee College to do the four-day course and have since found it highly relevant to my position, which includes delivery and monitoring of health and safety training", said Marian who is HR Manager for Apex Hotels in Edinburgh.

"So it was a real bonus to win an award as well."

This sentiment was echoed by Kay, a group manager with Pataks Frozen Foods Ltd who commented:

"The training course has given me the appropriate skills and knowledge to perform my job to a higher standard whilst providing me with the tools to improve staff training."

"Dundee College successfully delivered a challenging but enjoyable course and to win an award is a reflection of the standard of training provided."

While Kathryn, who runs Spudulike in Dundee was also impressed with the course:

"I found the course highly enjoyable though demanding. It has provided me an excellent wealth of knowledge which has been integral in my job. Also, it has provided me with the means to train my staff to a high level."

"I am very pleased to have the award and it was a surprise to say the least."
