Little Chef

Induction - Licensing/Food Safety/Health and Safety Induction

All team members on joining the company attend an induction session using a Highfield developed desk top presenter.

This was designed to be used for small groups and covers the essential information required for joining the company.

This covers:

  1. Licensing particularly focusing on age related sales
  2. Health and Safety
  3. Food Safety

On the completion of this course team members have to complete the first section of their new training book.

L2 Food Safety and Health & Safety.

Following completion of the induction course all team members have to complete a customized L2 Health and Safety Food Safety work book in conjunction with the L2 Health and Safety handbook and L2 Food Safety Handbook. This is completed over a number of weeks at the end of which the team members sit a test.

Management

Managers complete the Supervising Level 3 Food Safety and Supervising Health and Safety workbooks. On the completion of these the Managers attend a days workshop on Little Chef specific policy.
